Completing the Daruma. When you achieve your goal — earning a new belt, or mastering a new skill — you have the honor of sewing or drawing the missing eye onto the Daruma doll. Hemp shrinks approximately 5% on the first wash at 40°C. Size up if you are between sizes or on the boundary of two sizes.

NOT IBJJF approved — the natural undyed colourway does not meet IBJJF white-gi standards.

Care
Machine wash cold — max 30°C (cold wash preserves the natural colour tone)
Do not tumble dry — hang dry to maintain structure
Do not bleach — this is already its natural colour; bleaching will damage the fibre
First wash: expect approximately 5% shrinkage — normal and accounted for in sizing
Hemp softens and improves texture with every wash thereafter.

Top of the pile after 20 years
Amazing quality gi, out of the box the material is super soft and drapes over body. I'm on the larger end of the scale for A2 with a wide back, still fits comfortably after a couple of cool washes. The overall look is very fresh and understated. I've had a lot of gis in over 20 years of training and this sits up the top. Love it.
