Sizing: A0 / A0L / A1 / A1L / A2 / A2L / A3 / A3L / A4 / A5 (IBJJF standard)

Hemp shrinks approximately 5% on the first wash at 40°C. Size up if you are between sizes or on the boundary of two sizes.

A0 — 55–65 kg (121–143lb) · 155–165 cm (61–65")
A1 — 65–75 kg (143–165lb) · 165–172 cm (65–68")
A2 — 75–85 kg (165–187lb) · 172–178 cm (68–70")
A3 — 85–95 kg (187–209lb) · 178–185 cm (70–73")
A4 — 95–110 kg (209–243lb) · 182–190 cm (72–75")
A5 — 110+ kg (243lb+) · 188+ cm (74"+)

Jacket: 100% Hemp — 580gsm long-fibre single weave
Pants: 100% Hemp — 375gsm long-fibre twill
Collar: UVA foam reinforced — holds shape under heavy grips
Stitching: Reinforced at all major stress points
Drawstring: Braided cord for secure, adjustable fit

Hemp is up to 4× stronger than cotton by tensile strength. It requires no pesticides, minimal water, and improves soil health with every crop.

Colour note: Natural white is the hemp fibre’s unprocessed colour — zero synthetic dyes, zero bleaching. The slight off-white tone is intentional: nothing harmful has touched this gi. Naturally antibacterial and antifungal. Gets softer with every wash while retaining full structural integrity.
Competition & Cert

NOT IBJJF approved — the natural undyed colourway does not meet IBJJF white-gi standards.

The Daruma 100% Hemp Gi is built from the strongest natural fibre on earth — up to 3× the tensile strength of cotton. That means seams that hold, fabric that doesn't thin out under pressure, and a gi that gets softer and more comfortable with every wash while retaining every gram of its structural integrity.
